NIH BRAIN Initiative R34 Grant (2024–2026)

The BRAIN Initiative R34 Grant is designed to support exploratory and planning activities for future large-scale neuroscience research projects. This grant aims to facilitate the development of basic science research that focuses on understanding how circuit activity drives behavior or neural system dynamics. It provides essential funding to help researchers design projects that lead to Targeted BRAIN Circuits Projects R01 applications, fostering cross-species and comparative approaches to uncover general principles of brain function.

Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative Winter Pilot Award (2023–2025)

The goal of the Pilot Award program is to provide early support for exploratory ideas, particularly those with novel hypotheses, that have the potential to yield transformative results in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) research. In particular, the program seeks to support research to link genetic or other ASD risk factors to molecular, cellular, circuit or behavioral mechanisms and set the stage for development of novel interventions.

BRAIN Initiative K99/R00 (2020-2025)

The purpose of the NIH BRAIN Initiative Advanced Postdoctoral Career Transition Award to Promote Diversity (K99/R00) program is to enhance workforce diversity in the neuroscience workforce and maintain a strong cohort of new and talented, NIH-supported, independent investigators from diverse backgrounds in BRAIN Initiative research areas.

Brain & Behavior Research Foundation Young Investigator Award (2022-2024)

The BBRF Young Investigator Grants provide two years of funding to begin careers as independent research faculty or extend research fellowship training. The goal of the YI program is to help researchers launch careers in neuroscience and psychiatry and gather pilot data to apply for larger federal and university grants.

National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (2013 - 2016)

The National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF-GRFP) supports outstanding graduate students pursuing research-based Master's and doctoral degrees in the natural, social, and engineering sciences at US institutions. Fellowships provide each student with a three-year annual stipend, a cost of education allowance, and access to opportunities for professional development.
